MAELSTROM RESERVOIRS

Our Maelstrom reservoir line features two pump options: D5 and DDC. Each one comes with a variety of shapes and sizes.

MAELSTROM D5/DDC

  • The new Maelstrom reservoir features a smooth, single profile square design. It is available in 4 different lengths: 50 mm, 100 mm, 200 mm, and 300 mm, With this wide range of lengths to choose from, the Maelstrom D5/DDC reservoir will find its way into any type of custom liquid cooling build!

  • The Maelstrom D5/DDC reservoir also comes with built-in ARGB lighting, and is also compatible with Zytra’s IRIS Technology.

  • Installation of the reservoir into the chassis is handled by Zytra’s custom mounting brackets which are also included in Zytra’s MCP655/D5 and MCP35X/DDC pump tops. These innovative and modders-oriented bracket allows for both bottom and side panel mounting.

  • System fill up is done through on of the two top G1/4” ports. The other port can be used as a return line port to give modders the flexibility of routing the most complex cooling loops, just plug the other return port with the included plus.

MAELSTROM FLAT RESERVOIRS

  • The new Maelstrom flat reservoir features a smooth, single profile square design. It is available in 3 sizes: 92, 120, and 180 mm. These reservoirs are only available with the DDC pumps.

  • Installation of the flat reservoirs into the chassis is handled by using four mounting screws that go through the rear side of the case and into the brass side of the reservoir.

  • System fill up is done through the single G1/4” port on top. There is also a front port can be used as a return line port to give modders the flexibility of routing the most complex cooling loops, just plug the other return port with the included plus.

MCP655 (Xylem/Laing D5) and MCP35X-Bk (Xylem/Laing DDC)

ZYTRA’s choice of pump for the Maelstrom D5 is nothing but the award winning MCP655 / D5 PWM pump which has been the go-to choice of both Gamers, Overclockers and Modders alike. Meanwhile, the Maelstrom DDC uses a MCP35X-Bk / DDC PWM pump. The Xylem/Laing D5 and DDC pumps are a high reliability, high pressure industrial pump, featuring a 50,000 hour MTBF. Such reliability is afforded by the unique design of these motors, which contains only one moving part: the magnetically driven spherical impeller spins on a single ceramic bearing, thus extending the life of this pump beyond existing standards.

The MCP655 and MCP35X-Bk PWM is completely plug-and-play, and connect directly to the computer power-supply with a standard 4 pin power connectors. It also features speed control through direct PWM connection to the motherboard.
